PRAGUE Air Force 1 Flyknit Dames Kopen , Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- Czech government has approved on Monday to buy out a pig farm located on the site of a former Nazi protectorate concentration camp for the Romani in Lety, Pisek Air Force 1 Flyknit Kopen , a town 100 km south of Prague.

Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said he is very glad that the government has made the decision, adding that the victims of Nazi persecution and the Holocaust "deserve our respect".

He said the decision is important from a symbolic point of view as the cabinet has finally removed the embarrassment that used to be a burden for the country for decades since the pig farm was built in 1972.

Czech Minister of Culture Daniel Herman told reporters that pig breeding is due to end in late spring next year. A decent memorial is expected to be established in the near future.

The sale contract between the state and AGPI company Air Force 1 Zwart Kopen , the owner of the pig farm, will be signed next month.

AGPI Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Jan Cech confirmed Monday that as soon as AGPI has signed the contract for the sale of the state premises Air Force 1 Wit Kopen , its shareholders have to give their consent at the general meeting as well. The contract will become effective after the New Year.

The price so far is not announced, but will be disclosed once all papers are signed. Previously Czech President Milos Zeman said that he had refused to shut down the farm as a prime minister because it would cost taxpayers around 400 million crowns (about 18 million U.S. dollars).

The Roma activist communities perceive the purchase as a relief and hope for its soon demolition.

The Czech Republic has been largely criticized by local organizations and international institutions. The European Parliament also called for the removal of the farm.

The camp in Lety was opened in August 1940 as a working camp under the protectorate of Nazi Germany during the WWII. Since May 1943 Air Force 1 Roze Kopen , over 1,300 Romani had passed the camp Air Force 1 Rood Kopen , and 327 of them died.

UNITED NATIONS, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- The UN special envoy, Staffan de Mistura, is committed to holding intra-Syrian talks by the end of August, a UN spokesman said here on Thursday, citing the deputy UN special envoy for Syria.

Ramzy Ezzeldine Ramzy told reporters in Geneva that "for these talks to be fruitful, the cessation of hostilities has to stand and be reinforced," UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric said at a daily news briefing here.

De Mistura, the UN mediator, has been vying to get the intra-Syrian talks back on track since negotiations seeking to reach a political agreement by Aug. 1 were put on hold in April this year.

Both the humanitarian situation in the war-torn country since 2011 and fighting between government troops, opposition forces and terrorist factions have prevented negotiations from resuming.

Regarding Aleppo in northern Syria, Ramzy noted that the United Nations is currently in intensive discussions with Russia and the government of Syria to ensure that the civilians are protected and that standards of international humanitarian law are respected in any aid operation, Dujarric said.

In the same press encounter, the special advisor to the UN special envoy, Jan Egeland, said that UN and other humanitarian workers had hoped to reach 1.2 million people in besieged and hard-to-reach areas affected by conflict in July, but only reached about 40 percent of that target, largely because of continued fighting, the spokesman said.

Egeland said that humanitarian pauses and a temporary end to the fighting are badly needed now, more than ever, for the city of Aleppo.

"It is heartbreaking really, for humanitarian workers that are ready with supplies, with trucks and people who are willing to risk a lot, that we were prevented from reaching 60 percent of (those) we had hoped to," Egeland said.

CANBERRA, March 23 (Xinhua) -- Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull on Thursday joined a chorus of world leaders offering their sympathies to Britain following a brazen terror attack at Westminster in London overnight.

Five people were killed and at least 20 others were injured after a man attempting to storm the Houses of Parliament crashed a car into pedestrians on the Westminster Bridge before getting out and stabbing a police officer to death.

Speaking at a press conference in Canberra, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull described the attack on the British parliament as "an attack on parliaments, freedom and democracy everywhere".

"Westminster is rightly known as the mother of parliaments," Turnbull said. "Almost every element of our parliamentary tradition, here in Australia, is modeled on that of the Houses of Parliament in London."

"We send our condolences, especially to the families of the victims, those injured, including a police officer murdered by the terrorist."

Turnbull also took the opportunity to update Australians on the local terror threat level, and announced there would be an "increased" police presence at the Parliament House in Canberra in the wake of the attack in London.

"The (Australian) terror threat level is set at probable but we will never, ever let the terrorists win," he said.

"There would be an increased police presence in Parliament House today. Australians should be reassured that our agencies are today, as every day, working relentlessly to keep.
